Floral & Event Design
Your Style + My Design = Floral Magic
Your wedding should be a reflection of your style & personality. Not a copy of someone else’s.
When you come to me for your wedding florals and decor you won’t get a pre-designed package or a replica of a Pinterest photo. You’ll get gorgeous, unique arrangements that were custom created for your venue, season and colors.
“From my first meeting with Rachel, it was clear that she knows her craft and that I was in good hands. On the spot, she was able to show me a bunch of unique and beautiful flowers options that fit my vision perfectly. And leading up to the wedding, she put together a moodboard that gave me so much peace of mind because it as clear that she knew exactly what I wanted.”
-Kristine, Married January 2018
I’m a Pro
No really. I may look young, but I’ve got over 10 years of experience as a professional florist, and about 8 years designing weddings.
It all started at my family’s flower shop in Fargo, ND. I started helping as a kid, sweeping floors and filling balloons. As I got older I learned more and more, working my way up to designing weddings as a college student.
It wasn’t my plan to be a professional floral designer, but when I got married and became a military spouse, I discovered that floral design was my most marketable skill (It’s weird but true! I can get a job anywhere in the country).
Since then I have immersed myself in all things flowers. I started my own business in 2017 (serving clients like you) and I also work as a freelance designer for luxury florists and planners.
I’ve created arrangements for events of all shapes and sizes, from tiny beach elopements to huge luxury weddings for the rich and famous (one was even featured in People magazine! No I can’t say who the celebrity was).
I love that floral design allows me to create beautiful things every day, and I love to learn and improve with every event that I work on.
Floral design is not just a hobby for me… it’s my passion and my full-time job.
I’m not a fancy person, but I have really good taste
I love craft beer, dogs, nature hikes and getting my hands dirty. And that’s good, because being a florist is not exactly glamorous. In fact, it’s a lot of hard, physical work under punishing deadlines.
But I also love good design. I work hard to create designs that are not only beautiful and unique, but also tasteful and timeless.
Because no one wants their kids to make fun of their wedding photos in 20 years!
I truly care about your wedding and doing things the right way
I take pride in my work and I want your wedding to be as beautiful as possible. I pay attention to the details, because I know the details matter. That’s why:
- I create design proposals using both pictures and detailed descriptions, so you know what I will deliver in advance
- I use professional floral industry products and techniques, ensuring your flowers are fresh and beautiful throughout your event.
- I check the table linens to make sure they are straight, even if it’s not my job.
- I show up on time and get things done according to schedule.
Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life, and I take that to heart.
I work with weddings and budgets of all sizes. Whether you need just one bouquet or flowers everywhere, you choose the level of service that’s right for you.
